Specifications

San Luis Obsipo County FD enhanced its support capabilities with the addition of a Hackney Air/Light Support Vehicle mounted on an International 4400 with 330 hp engine. The 7-compartment body is specifically designed to support on-scene refill operations and station and apparatus refills of depleted or used SCBA's.

A 40,000 watt, 3-phase PTO generator, mounted in the left front compartment, drives the 20-hp compressor motor with supplemental reserves for a light tower with six 900-watt MagnaFire light heads.

The compressor is a 26 cfm Ingersoll-Rand with cast-iron block that operates at a quiet 1000 rpm. The RevolveAir fill station, located out of the way in the back compartment, can fill two bottles while two empties are being reloaded, providing an uninterrupted fill process.

The apparatus is full NFPA 1901 compliant. The apparatus was sold and serviced by Placer Fire Equipment, Sacramento, CA.
